Sicomin, Greenboats produce the first ever NFC nacelle

Sicomin, the leading formulator of bio-epoxy resin systems brand GreenPoxy, and Greenboats have partnered to produce the first ever natural fibre composite (NFC) nacelle for an offshore wind turbine. Use of NFC structures in wind energy lowers energy consumption in manufacturing and improves sustainability of the composite materials used in the turbine.

OrganoClick, a public Swedish cleantech company, has signed a 5-year frame work agreement with a leading nonwoven manufacturer for supply of OrganoClick’s bio-based binders.
