Sweden’s Essity invests in tissue machine running on geothermal steam

Sweden-based hygiene and health company, Essity, is investing in enhanced efficiency in the company’s site in Kawerau, New Zealand, including the world’s first tissue machine running a fully geothermal steam drying process. US’ Tethis & Agromousquetaires develop fully-compostable diaper

Agromousquetaires, through its Cellulose de Brocéliande subsidiary, a major French diaper producer, has made public a key collaboration with North Carolina-based materials producer, Tethis, which aims to bring the first known compostable diaper to market. Tethis, which is based in the US, makes novel plant-based, degradable super absorbents products.

US’ Baker Hughes & Primus Line to make non-metallic pipe applications
