Invention company InventHelp, which is headquartered in Pittsburgh, the US, has created a PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) mask that offers coverage for the entire head. Along with added protection, the new PPE mask also ensures that the user has a fresh filtered air supply. The mask is expected to be suitable for individuals who wear PPE face masks for longer durations.

“I wanted to create a way to increase protection and improve breathing while wearing a PPE face covering all day,” said an inventor, from Hilliard, Ohio, according to a press release. “So, I invented the D K B PPE HOOD. My design would eliminate the need to breathe in exhaled air trapped within a mask and it will not interfere with the face area.”

Moreover, the PPE mask can be produced in various designs and is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers, added the release.
