The A330-800 has got joint Type Certification from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The A330-800 is the most efficient longest range entry-level widebody. It incorporates new Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines, a new 3D-optimised wing and new Sharklets which use lighter composite materials.

Composite scientists at the University of Sheffield Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre have are developing lightweight propeller blades to help the UK aviation sector reduce its carbon footprint and noise emissions at airports. ARRK has purchased two new CNC machines at its Composite Centre in Nuneaton in view of increasing demand for carbon. The machines will help company grow.
