FACC gets innovation award by Airbus

FACC has been awarded with an "Innovation Award" by Airbus. The award was given to FACC for its outstanding innovative performance towards development of a major component as part of the "Airbus Wing of Tomorrow" project. The objective of the project is to develop a composite aircraft wing for maximum performance and manufacturing efficiency.

Bombardier wins MacRobert Award 2019

Bombardier has won the MacRobert Award 2019 for developing an innovative, resin-infused advanced composite aircraft wing, which currently flies on the Airbus A220. This is the only certified commercial aircraft wing designed and produced with resin transfer infusion (RTI) rather than pre-impregnated carbon fibre used on other aircraft programmes.
