Berry to acquire RPC and become plastic packaging leader

Berry Global Group, has announced a recommended superior offer to acquire all of the issued and to be issued ordinary share capital of RPC Group for 793 pence ($10.52) per share in cash. Total price will be approx £5 billion ($6.5 billion) including refinancing of RPC’s net debt. The buyout will make Berry a global leader in plastic packaging solutions.

A.Celli to supply two Iridium printing machines in China

A.Celli will supply two new ‘Iridium mod. 8105’ printing machines to Chinese company Foshan Huahan Sanitary Material, specialists in flexo printing process of baby diapers. The machines will be installed in Foshan’s branch in December 2019. Using A.Celli Iridium press, Foshan can quickly respond to customers’ production needs for short and long runs.

Hexcel has partnered with Lyon-based startup, Lavoisier Composites and developed Carbonium, a new generation of material sourced entirely from carbon composite by-products generated by the French aerospace sector.
