Autoliv promotes Kevin Fox to lead its Americas division

Autoliv Inc, a Sweden-based worldwide leader in automotive safety systems, has announced that the company will promote Kevin Fox to the position of president, Americas and a member of Autoliv's executive management team. The promotion is expected to be effective on June 15th upon the previously announced resignation of Daniel Garceau.

Burlington and Tilley Endurables have joined hands to make isolation gowns for healthcare workers in Canada. For more than 40 years Burlington has produced Maxima line of medical fabrics while Tilley has focused on making quality headwear for the outdoors. Tilley pivoted its idle sewing capacity from hats to medical isolation gowns during the pandemic.

Braskem setting up global export hub in Charleston

Braskem, the largest polyolefins producer in the Americas and leading producer of biopolymers, is setting up a new global export hub facility in Charleston, South Carolina to serve Braskem's international customers. The facility will provide packaging, warehousing and export shipping services to support Braskem's US polypropylene (PP) production units.

These tests are required by US federal safety standards in 16 CFR 1633.
