The Nonwovens Institute (NWI) at North Carolina State University is proactively responding to the COVID-19 pandemic. With the full support of NC State, NWI is dedicating its melt-blown and spun-bond nonwoven making facilities and expertise to produce specially designed fabrics that can be delivered to US manufacturers to assemble face masks.

Karweb to get neXline spunlace line from Andritz

International technology Group Andritz will provide a complete neXline spunlace line to Karweb Nonwovens for its plant located in Gaziantep, Turkey. The line is scheduled for installation and start-up at the beginning of 2021. Hexcel has introduced new low temperature fast cure HexBond 679 adhesive film. The film improves bonding performance in sandwich structures and leads to cycle time reductions with its short-cure cycles at low temperatures. HeroWear makes available its exosuit for all
