Feinstein Institutes' wearable sleeve for paralytics

Scientists at the Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research have developed a light-weight, wearable sleeve that regulates individual finger forces to facilitate functional movement in paralysed individuals. The team developed closed-loop neurostimulation methods and textile-based electrodes using proprietary processes from Myant to make the sleeve.

Sicomin's epoxy infusion resins and adhesive products have qualified for the series production of Candela's new all-electric foiling boat. The boat is around 45-50 per cent lighter than a traditional glass fibre fossil fuel powered boat.
