UK’s Techtex acquires Whitminster, Klenzeen

Manchester-based Technical Textile Services (Techtex), which sources non-woven fabrics and manufactures a range of dry and wet wipe products including branded, private label and generic, recently acquired Whitminster International and Klenzeen, both headquartered in Stafford, creating a group with a turnover of over £20 million and a workforce of 90.

Supield attains $100,000 mark on Kickstarter

Owens Corning elects Brian D Chambers as CEO

Owens Corning’s board of directors has elected Brian D Chambers, 52, current president and chief operating officer (COO), as new chief executive officer (CEO), effective April 18, 2019. Chambers succeeds Mike Thaman, who has served as chairman since 2002 and as CEO since 2007. Thaman will remain with the company in the role of executive chairman.
