American healthcare company Medline has invested an additional $500 million in incremental medical supply inventory to ensure product availability and timely delivery to the healthcare providers it serves. The investment, completed at the end of the second quarter of 2022, brings the company's total on-hand inventory to more than $4 billion.

Suominen, a manufacturer of nonwovens as roll goods for wipes and other applications, has announced that its energy costs have increased significantly during recent months and continue to rise during the coming autumn and winter months. Suominen can no longer absorb the full extent of these increases and hence will implement a new energy surcharge.

Responsible diapering company Dyper has announced that its plant-based baby diapers and wipes will be available in most Walmart US stores and on its online platform this month. Made with plant-based materials and without harmful chemicals, Dyper’s diapers and wipes can be returned for disposal via the optional landfill avoidance programme Redyper.
