Avgol displays latest biotransformation technology at Hygienix in US

Avgol, an Indorama Ventures company and global leader in the manufacture of high-performance nonwoven fabric solutions, displayed its latest work in biotransformation technology for polyolefin fibers and nonwoven fabrics at this year’s Hygienix event. Hygienix was held from November 15-18, 2021 at the Westin Kierland Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona, USA.

Germany’s Hohenstein & Aerospace researchers develop SmartTex shirt

SmartTex shirt, developed by DLR, DSI Aerospace Technology, the medical faculty of Bielefeld University and Hohenstein, will help researchers evaluate the effects of the space environment on the human cardiovascular system. It uses integrated sensors to transfer physiological data from astronauts to Earth via a wireless communication network.
