German company Dolan GmbH (Kelheim), which manufactures high-quality acrylic fibre, has recently made an announcement regarding the rise in prices of acrylic fibre up to 10 percent. The prices were raised because of the increase in raw material prices as well as energy prices. The price hike will be effective from the first quarter of this year.
Last year, the price of the major raw material acrylonitrile used by the company went up to around 50 percent. The price trend continued to reflect a rising trend.
