Patanjali Ayurveda has decided to enter the diaper and sanitary napkin market by launching both kids and adult diapers and affordable sanitary napkins in the first quarter of the next financial year, according to company spokesperson SK Gupta Tijarawala, who said the combined market for these products will be a Rs 16,000-crore category by 2018-19.
The target is to take on international companies who dominate this market in India, according to a news agency report.
