Talking about the benefits for Indian firms participating in IBP, Ms. Katoch says, “As per the current scenario, technical textile is the fastest growing segment in textiles in India with huge opportunities for partnering with foreign manufacturers and technology providers. Despite India’s strength in manufacturing textiles, India imports major chunk of its total technical textiles consumption. IFAI will enable representatives of government agencies, Indian buyers / importers to network with American companies at a single convenient location.
