Indorama Ventures Public Company Limited (IVL), through its indirect subsidiary PHP Fibres GmbH (PHP Fibres), has signed a definitive share purchase and transfer agreement with Wilfried Trumpp and Venere Polito, to acquire a 100 per cent stake in UTT Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH (UTT), Germany. The transaction is expected to complete by Q1 2019.

Southeast Asia has grown into an airbag textile manufacturing hub. With iSi Automotive's acquisition of a FocusQuantum FT6K, the Thailand facility is now equipped to stay apace of demand.

Magna and Altran Technologies have launched a joint venture - under the name MG2 - in Casablanca, Morocco. The joint venture brings together Magna's complete vehicle know-how and process competence and Altran's strengths as a locally established partner.
