America Makes signs cooperative agreement with AFRL

America Makes, the national additive manufacturing innovation Institute, has entered into a seven-year cooperative agreement (CA) with the Department of Air Force, Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL). The CA is a cost-reimbursement/cost share agreement with a total funding up to a combined $322 million of government cost and America Makes cost share.

KCV to make composite parts for Carestream Health

Kaman Composites - Vermont (KCV), a subsidiary of Kaman Corporation, has expanded its medical imaging customer base. It will manufacture complex composite assemblies for Carestream Health for their DRX product line. All composite detail parts and assemblies will be manufactured at the KCV facility in Bennington.
