FiberCore USA and Canadian Mat Systems are working together to produce a world class fibre-reinforced plastic (FRP) composite mat using the patented InfraCore Inside technology. The two have signed a license agreement in this connection. The mat will be manufactured in Canada and reduce greenhouse gas emissions during its operational lifecycle.

Finnester Coatings has introduced a new coating product for composite applications called HybridRED. The product combines fire and outdoor resistance with decorativeness. The coating is especially designed for infrastructure applications, such as the energy industry, bridges and facades. Its fire-resistant technology is based on ceramifying polymers.
