Diab Group and Skaps India are collaborating to produce PET foam to support the growing demand for core material in the wind industry in India. The two have signed a partnership agreement under which they will make joint investment in a PET foam production plant in Ahmedabad. The production plant will produce Diab’s Divinycell PET range of products.

Ineos Team UK has produced two cradles for race boat 'Britannia' using ELG recycled carbon fibre, as the America's Cup campaign intensifies. The cradles have been produced under a technical partnership between ELG Carbon Fibre and INEOS Team UK. The recycled carbon fibre convertor has processed over 1.2 tonnes of the British Challengers waste materials.

Solvay and SGL Carbon have joined hands to bring to market composite materials based on large-tow intermediate modulus (IM) carbon fibre. The two have signed a joint development agreement. These materials will help reduce costs and carbon dioxide emissions, and improve the production process and fuel efficiency of next-generation commercial aircraft.

The NCC has joined hands with British engineering specialist, Drive System Design (DSD), on a new project on enhancing the efficiency of the integrated electric drive unit (EDU) of electric vehicles (EVs). The 12-month project, part-funded by Innovate UK, will investigate the use of composites to enable increased power density and reduced unit size.
