Durashine to debut in IFAI Expo with partner mills

Durashine - the high performance solution dyed acrylic fibre of Thai Acrylic Fibre Co Ltd (TAF) from Aditya Birla Group, will debut in IFAI Expo in Orlando, Florida, from October 1-4, 2019. Durashine will be in stall # 2561 along with Bulliontex (Sol-Out brand of outdoor fabrics) and European Spinning Group (RA Outdoor brand of outdoor yarns).

Chinese company Sunda launches diaper factory in Kenya

A Chinese firm recently launched a diaper factory in Kenya. Huang Shiwei, factory director of the Sunda Kenya Industrial Company, said the $39-million facility covering 35 acres in Mavoko, 30 km southwest of Nairobi, has an annual production capacity between 350 million to 450 million pieces. Kenya will save on foreign currency used to import diapers.
