₹1,000 crore new technical textile plant gets green signal

The Indian state of Gujarat recently approved 5 big investment proposals by 4 firms, which will invest close to ₹6,000 crore in diverse sectors. The companies will set up manufacturing facilities in Dholera and Halol. This includes baby diaper manufacturing brand Avgol’s proposal for setting up a ₹1,000 crore new technical textile plant at Halol.

FDA approves surgical masks produced by Freudenberg

US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has given 510(k) clearance to surgical masks produced by Freudenberg Performance Materials. The masks are meant for healthcare personnel as part of infection control measures to reduce exposure to blood and body fluids. Grist Mill Bridge with AIT Bridges’ beams opens
