Supreme Nonwovens takes over Futuris' business

Supreme Nonwovens Group, India's largest nonwovens group, through its majority owned Thailand subsidiary Supreme Feltol Thailand, has taken over automotive interior trims and NVH business of Futuris Automotive. Futuris is a subsidiary of Adient, US. Post-acquisition of Futuris' business, Supreme Feltol will have a second plant in Eastern Seaboard.

AFRL developing capability to certify composites

Scientists at the Air Force Research Laboratory/Cornell High Energy Synchrotron Source (CHESS) in partnership with industry are developing the capability to accelerate certification of advanced manufactured composite structures. They are setting up a new materials characterisation subfacility, known as the Materials Solutions Network for the purpose.
