Indian Institute of Technology Mandi is organising a National Workshop on 'Advanced Composites for Aerospace: Design, Manufacturing and Condition Monitoring Perspective' from February 11 to 15, 2020. Eminent scientists from Aeronautics Research and Development Board (the aerospace research wing of DRDO) are expected to attend the workshop.

America Makes, the national additive manufacturing innovation Institute, has entered into a seven-year cooperative agreement (CA) with the Department of Air Force, Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL). The CA is a cost-reimbursement/cost share agreement with a total funding up to a combined $322 million of government cost and America Makes cost share.
