Toray to introduce nonwoven material with suede texture

Toray Industries Inc, has announced that it would introduce ‘Ultrasuede BX’, a nonwoven material with a suede texture which is about 30 per cent made of plant-based raw materials, in January 2019. The material realises the highest proportion of plant-based raw materials – polyester and polyurethane in the world making it environmentally friendly.

France Decoupe invests in new 350 sq m clean room

France Decoupe, member of the Addev Materials Group since 2016, has invested in a new clean room dedicated to nonwoven parts manufacturing. With more than 20 million parts produced per year, the plant based in Loire County has developed since 1993 a unique expertise in nonwoven converting for markets such as industry, construction and hygiene.

Zhejiang Kingsafe gets Stream winder from A Celli Group

Chinese company Zhejiang Kingsafe Nonwovens Fabric has bought a complete line comprising a Stream winder, a Rapid rewinder, a Slittomatic, an extractor, and an automated roll handling and packaging system from the A Celli Group. The line has the start-up scheduled for the first half of 2019. The company had earlier purchased a new winder from the group.

Directa Plus, Arvind extend collaboration to composites
